Esqueça a conta bancária. Dificuldades técnicas de execução, logísticas complicadas, profissionais enrolados e enroladores; deixe todas as mazelas do mundo real para… o mundo real. No melhor estilo papo-de-boteco, vamos jogar conversa fora e especular um projeto absurdo, de dar água na boca de alguns, de fazer outros resmungarem.
As únicas regras: usar como base um carro de até R$80 mil, e ter um mínimo de coerência – não dá para enfiar um V8 Ford 427 Cammer sob o capô de um Ford Ka. De resto, vale tudo!
Minha sugestão é um verdadeiro crime histórico. Vou usar o carro esportivo mais belo já projetado no Brasil (bem, opinião minha), protegido por uma legião de fãs duros na queda, para aprontar algo realmente hardcore. Algo tão violento e rápido que seria usado por Chuck Norris como carrinho de golfe – nos domingos de sol.
Vamos começar então, com o GT Malzoni – mais especificamente com o seu motor. Fãs do DKW amam o fumacento três cilindros, se orgulham dele possuir apenas sete peças móveis, aquele ronquinho de baby-porsche que realmente é muito gostoso – e claro, toda a história da equipe de competições da Vemag, que desafiou e venceu grandalhões com propulsores muito maiores e potentes.

Mas este é o lado floreado da história. Problemas de lubrificação e excesso de temperatura nos cilindros frequentemente causavam problemas nos carros de competição – e até de rua. O maior deles era a dilatação excessiva dos pistões, chegando ao ponto de engripar e travar completamente o motor. É por isso que os DKW tinham o sistema de roda-livre – para as rodas não bloquearem nesta situação perigosa, nada incomum aos propulsores dois tempos.
Isso sem falar em falta de potência. A equipe Vemag suava, sangrava e chorava para extrair 200% de um motor original, ou algo próximo a 100 cavalos em usinas que deslocavam… um litro. O que estes caras faziam era um milagre. Não dá pra querer competir com um motor de 1L, mas era o que havia, e eles foram lá e venceram.
Mas eu não sou a equipe Vemag. Eu não gosto do sistema de roda-livre – o automóvel fica sempre solto, sem o efeito do freio-motor, forçando os freios, saindo de frente. Não quero pistões engripados. Não quero um mísero litro em um carro de corrida. Tchau, três cilindros.
Ficaria um ronco óbvio e sem graça. Não há milagre: quatro cilindros em linha roncam feio mesmo.
Agora, as quatro argolas ficam. Não dá pra mexer em um carro como o GT Malzoni sem deixar algo com sabor de herança sob o capô. Transformar os tais 100cv em estúpidos 256 cavalos, aos mesmos 6000rpm, é missão para o 2.0 TFSI que equipa o Audi S3. Com coletor de escape dimensionado, filtro de ar esportivo e um mínimo trabalho de fluxo e remapeamento, é bico passar bem dos 300cv – suficientes para transformar o Malzoni em um MALzoni.
Ah, o câmbio S-Tronic de dupla embreagem e seis velocidades pode vir de brinde, mas só se for acionado por um sistema a la Tip-Tronic; com uma alavanca all-go no-show. Borboletinha em um clássico, não dá. E o volante Fittipaldi Formula 1, do Puma DKW, fica.
Tração integral? Não gosto. A frente já está mais pesada com o novo motor, o entre-eixos curto tende a deixar as transferências de peso mais críticas, então, vamos ao clássico cardã, combinado a um diferencial bloqueado em uns 15-20%. Um sistema de suspensão todo tubular, duplo triângulo sobrepostos à frente, multilink atrás; amortecedores e barras estabilizadoras reguláveis, nada mal. E eliminaria a tração dianteira herdada do DKW – uma mazela que forçava alguns pilotos na época a usarem pneus maiores *na frente*, para tentar equilibrar o comportamento do carrinho. Absurdo.
Freios: discos frisados, quatro pistões, pastilhas macias – o que couber dentro das rodas Minilite aro 16, combinadas a pneus Toyo R888 (um dos favoritos dos pilotos de track day) 225/45 R16.
Pra fechar o pacote, pintura em branco-marfim sólido, interior bordô e dois adesivinhos pequeninos na traseira: o traçado antigo de Interlagos, e Nürburgring Nordschleife. Finito!
