Só de citar, o nome Isle of Man TT dá calafrios em quem imagina aquele circuito de 60 quilômetros de altíssima velocidade, encravado em meio a estradas rurais, vilas urbanas, morros, postes e sombras – e sem nenhuma área de escape ou previsão de segurança para os pilotos. No próximo dia 22, estreia um documentário sobre a mais perigosa corrida do mundo. Preparem os torrents!
O filme TT3D: Closer to the Edge captura a tentativa de um motociclista doidão chamado Guy Martin em sua busca pela vitória – e consequente luta para não integrar as estatísticas de 231 mortes em treinos e corridas naquele pedaço de ilha entre a Inglaterra e a Irlanda desde 1907. Sendo a TT provavelmente a única das grandes competições sobre rodas que mantém intactos seu espírito e desafio, e sendo praticamente nulas as chances desse documentário ser distribuído no Brasil, vá treinando seu inglês desde já – ou aguarde o trabalho de algum bom cristão que tope fazer as legendas na raça.
